Terms and Conditions

01The service

Attend is event management software for professional planners. It lets you manage clients, events, guest lists, RSVPs, seating, vendors, budgets, tasks, and event messaging from one account.

Individuals planning their own events can also use Attend. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

02Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account, including activity by team members you invite.
• Tell us promptly at hello@useattend.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

03Plans, billing, and payments

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly, quarterly, or annual cycle. Quarterly and annual plans are discounted as shown on our Pricing page.
• Prices are shown in Nigerian naira (₦) for customers in Nigeria and in US dollars ($) elsewhere, and may exclude applicable taxes.
• Payments are processed by Paystack for customers in Nigeria and by Stripe for all other customers. Their terms also apply to your payment.
• Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle until cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.
• We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price change, which will apply from your next billing cycle.

If a free plan or free trial is offered, we may limit its features and may change or end it with notice.

04Your clients' and guests' data

When you add client, guest, or vendor information to Attend, you remain responsible for it. You confirm that:

• You have a lawful basis to collect and use that information, and to store it in Attend
• You have told the people concerned how their information will be used
• You will handle their requests to access, correct, or delete their information

For this information, you act as the data controller and Attend processes it on your behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy.

06Acceptable use

You must not use Attend to:

• Break any law or infringe anyone's rights
• Send spam, unsolicited messages, or misleading content
• Upload malware or attempt to access accounts, systems, or data you are not authorised to access
• Resell or provide Attend to others without our written agreement
• Interfere with the performance or security of the service

07Vendors and third parties

Attend is a tool for managing your events. We are not a party to any agreement between you and your clients, guests, or vendors, and we are not responsible for their performance, payments, or conduct.

Attend connects with third-party services such as payment and messaging providers. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms.

08Your content and our intellectual property

You own the content you add to Attend. You give us permission to host, copy, and process it only as needed to provide and improve the service.

Attend, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to Attend Technologies Ltd. These Terms do not give you any right to use our name or logos.

09Availability and support

We work to keep Attend available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance, and we will try to give notice of planned downtime.

10Suspension and termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if payment fails and is not resolved, or if required by law.

After your account closes, you can request an export of your data within 30 days. After that, we may delete it, subject to legal retention requirements.

11Disclaimers

Attend is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties beyond those set out in these Terms. You are responsible for checking the accuracy of event details, budgets, and communications before you rely on them.

12Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Attend is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13Indemnity

You agree to cover any claims, losses, or costs brought against Attend that arise from your content, your messages to clients, guests, or vendors, or your breach of these Terms.

14Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales. If you are based in Nigeria, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes will be handled by the Nigerian courts.

15Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Attend after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
